Fellow Program
The designation Fellow of the Academy is a signature recognition. The achievement comes from hard work, commitment to personal development, and a dedication to professional excellence. This elite status is attained by those with a demonstrated commitment to mastering their profession through sustained educational pursuits and a proven track record of service to their community and the O&P profession.
Fellows are recognized by the initials FAAOP(A), FAAOP, and FAAOP(D) after their name and certification credentials. Fellow status lasts five years for FAAOP(A) and FAAOP, and ten years for FAAOP(D), after which further professional requirements must be met to maintain the designation.
